Third International Scientific and Practical Conference “Eagles of the Palearctic: Study and Conservation”

II INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP “RAPTORS AND ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE”

Russian Raptor Research and Conservation Network (RRRCN) and Biodiversity Research and Conservation Center Community Trust (BRCC, Kazakhstan) organize the scientific-practical workshop on solving the problem of bird deaths at power facilities within the framework of the “Eagles of the Palearctic: Study and Conservation” Third International Scientific and Practical Conference in Almaty, Kazakhstan on 26 September 2023. The event aims to share experiences and advanced solutions to reduce bird mortality at energy facilities. The workshop will focus on changes in legislation and practical solutions of different countries, as well as best practices in modeling and assessing bird mortality risks. The organizers also invite participants to a round table to develop recommendations for biodiversity protection in Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries.
