The site “Mammals of Kazakhstan” has been launched

Birdwatchers, naturalists, zoologists and nature lovers of Kazakhstan are already familiar with such resources as kz.birding.day, reptilia.club, devoted to observations of birds, reptiles and amphibians of Kazakhstan. Here you can see photos and observation points of species, learn about their biology and ecology, upload your observations. Now there is such a site for animals as well.

The idea to create a site of mammals of Kazakhstan was born long ago, but it was possible to realize it only now, thanks to zoologist Andrey Lisovsky and colleagues from the project “Mammals of Russia”. ACBK supported financially the launch and maintenance of the site.

The main goal of the project is to create a platform uniting enthusiasts and their observations, on the basis of which it will be possible to create an Atlas of mammals of Kazakhstan in the future.

The site was created for experts and naturalists of Kazakhstan, who are ready to share data of their observations of mammals on the territory of Kazakhstan. Join! http://www.mammals.kz/
