In search of a Red-Footed Falcon

The BRCC team has started a field survey of the breeding sites of the Red-Footed Falcon (Falco vespertinus) in the Akmola region.
Within the framework of the project, the nesting groups observed in 2007, as well as new nesting sites, will be checked. The aim of the project is to obtain up–to-date data on the number of Red-Footed Falcon in the study area, as well as to determine the needs for an artificial breeding stock for future biotechnical activities.
The field trip was attended by employees of the BRCC and a volunteer.
The project is supported by Ornithological Society Of The Middle East (OSME).
